About Alex

​Alex connects world-class software engineers and quantitative researchers with hedge funds and proprietary trading firms across the UK, Europe and the US. His mandates cover quant research, systematic trading and software engineering, partnering with pods, CTOs and heads of talent to drive high-impact hires.

Before joining Venture Search in 2025, Alex served eight years in the British Army as a Lance Corporal with the King’s Royal Hussars. His military background instilled in him a disciplined work ethic, leadership under pressure, and a genuine team-first mentality.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys golf, tennis and chess.
