About James
James co-founded Venture Search in 2019 and leads the firm’s London operations, overseeing buildouts across hedge funds and proprietary trading. He partners with portfolio managers, researchers and traders to deliver multi-desk expansions and strengthen leadership benches across global markets.
Before founding Venture Search, James served as an EMEA Board Member for a global recruitment firm specialising in financial services and technology, having earlier run FS and technology practices at a multinational staffing company. His own career began in investment banking, giving him a first-hand understanding of the environments in which his clients operate.
