Our client, a leading placement agent, is expanding its Munich office and seeking a highly motivated Associate or VP to join. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of investor engagement and deal execution, supporting capital raising processes for top-tier private market funds.
Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of fundraising campaigns across private equity, private credit, and other alternative asset classes.
- Assist in managing relationships with institutional investors, including coordinating meetings, follow-ups, and communications.
- Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) with investor activity and pipeline tracking.
- Prepare investor materials, including presentations, teasers, and due diligence documentation.
- Coordinate end-to-end fundraising processes, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders are aligned.
- Work closely with internal teams and external fund managers to manage project workflows.
- Conduct market and investor research to support targeting strategies.
- Assist in preparing briefing materials and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 3–8 years of experience in investor relations or fundraising, either at a Placement Agent or an Alternatives GP. For VP-level, candidates must have a track record in institutional sales, preferably within PE.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Experience using CRM systems and strong Excel capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident preparing and delivering presentations.
- Fluency in English and German is essential.
