Our client, a global agricultural trading firm, is seeking an experienced Corn Trader to drive commercial performance across global physical and derivative corn markets. The successful candidate will manage trading positions, develop origination and sales flows, and identify regional arbitrage opportunities to enhance profitability and strengthen the firm’s presence in key origination and destination markets.
Key Responsibilities:

Execute and manage physical and paper corn trades, including freight and derivative hedging strategies.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with producers, exporters, importers, and end-users across key regions (e.g., Americas, Black Sea, Asia, and Middle East).

Identify and capture arbitrage opportunities across regional markets, freight routes, and quality differentials.

Oversee position management, exposure reporting, and ensure compliance with internal risk and credit limits.

Coordinate closely with operations, logistics, and risk teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts.

Monitor market trends, crop conditions, freight rates, and policy developments impacting global corn flows.

Support the firm’s strategy in expanding origination and distribution networks.
