We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially driven Senior Specialist – Corporate Structured Finance to join our client based in the UAE. The ideal candidate will play a key role in structuring and executing complex financing solutions to support the company's trading and asset-backed transactions, working closely with internal stakeholders, banks, and counterparties.

This is a critical position that requires deep understanding of structured finance, commodity trading markets, and risk mitigation techniques. You will lead efforts in originating, modelling, negotiating, and executing financing structures that optimise capital usage while aligning with the company’s strategic and operational objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate, structure, and execute structured finance transactions including prepayment deals, inventory financing, receivables securitization, borrowing base facilities, and off-balance-sheet funding arrangements.

  • Analyse and model complex transaction structures, incorporating commodity price risk, counterparty credit risk, and operational flows.

  • Lead the end-to-end financing process: from deal assessment, due diligence, and structuring to documentation and closing.

  • Engage with global banking partners, trade finance institutions, and internal stakeholders including trading, legal, risk, and accounting teams.

  • Develop and maintain financial models and scenario analyses to support transaction structuring and decision-making.

  • Monitor and manage ongoing performance and compliance of structured deals, including covenant tracking and collateral management.

  • Contribute to strategic capital planning initiatives, including liquidity forecasting, funding optimization, and credit capacity management.

  • Stay abreast of market developments, regulations, and emerging structures in energy trading finance.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or other relevant qualifications preferred.

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in structured finance within a corporate, banking, or trading environment, preferably in the energy or commodities sector.

  • Deep understanding of structured finance instruments, trade finance tools, and risk allocation in commodity trading.

  • Proven negotiation skills and experience in drafting and reviewing complex legal and financial documentation.
