Senior Credit Analyst - Emerging Markets (Saudi Arabia)

A leading global asset manager is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join its growing Emerging Markets Credit team based in Riyadh.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-performing global platform while playing a key role in building out a regional presence in Saudi Arabia, working closely with senior leadership and contributing to differentiated investment strategies across emerging markets.


The Opportunity

You will be part of a globally integrated investment team, combining deep bottom-up credit research with macro insights to identify high-conviction investment opportunities.

This role offers strong exposure to both regional (Saudi/GCC) and global emerging market issuers, alongside direct interaction with portfolio managers and investment committees.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth credit analysis on corporates and financial institutions across Saudi Arabia and broader emerging markets
  • Generate high-conviction investment ideas and present recommendations to portfolio managers
  • Perform detailed financial analysis, modelling, and valuation work
  • Contribute to top-down macro and sector views to support portfolio positioning
  • Monitor portfolio holdings and provide ongoing credit updates and risk assessments
  • Produce investment memos, research reports, and client materials
  • Support the development of internal research tools and processes
  • Engage in investment discussions and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Candidate Profile

  • 4-8 years’ experience in credit research, fixed income, or investment analysis
  • Background from asset management, investment banking, or a rating agency
  • Strong understanding of corporate credit and/or financial institutions
  • Exposure to emerging markets, ideally with knowledge of Saudi Arabia / GCC
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar; CFA (or progress) preferred
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication skills
