Our client is looking for a highly capable and ambitious software engineer to join its DeFi trading team. This role focuses on building and scaling high-performance systems that operate directly within decentralized markets. The successful candidate will work across the full trading stack, including blockchain integrations, trading logic, and supporting infrastructure.
What the role involves
- Develop and deliver production-quality code using Rust, Python, and related technologies
- Design and build systems that interact with on-chain protocols (e.g., Solidity, JSON-RPC, Solana, MEV workflows)
- Build and enhance real-time monitoring systems, strategy tooling, and execution pipelines
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across latency, throughput, and system reliability
- Collaborate with protocol teams and external partners to unlock new trading opportunities
- Take increasing ownership of end-to-end DeFi integrations and trading infrastructure

What our client is looking for
- 3–7 years of professional experience in software development
- Strong coding ability, with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Solid grounding in core computer science concepts, including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and networking
- Evidence of technical excellence, such as:
- Outstanding academic performance in computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering
- Participation or success in competitive programming or olympiads (e.g., ICPC, IMO, IPhO, IOI)
- Experience at highly selective technology companies or investment firms
- Ability to learn quickly, take ownership, and communicate clearly
Technical experience
- Rust is preferred
- Experience with at least one statically typed or systems programming language (e.g., C++, Java, Go, C#, Kotlin, or similar)
Preferred skills

- Understanding of trading systems, market structure, or strategy development
Nice to have
- Familiarity with DeFi concepts, including smart contracts, blockchain APIs, MEV, or Solana
