You will play a pivotal role in expanding their reach and raising capital for their diverse product portfolio. Leveraging your extensive investor network across NYC, you will be responsible for raising capital for the clients select private equity funds and independent sponsors.
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to attract investments for our client's product range.
- Leverage your extensive network of potential investors across NY and the North-East Coast.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, institutional investors, and family offices.
- Conduct due diligence on potential investors and assess their suitability for our client's offerings.
- Collaborate with the team to create compelling pitch materials and presentations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting fundraising and distribution.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
- Strong background in fundraising and distribution within the financial sector. Experience working at a Placement Agent is preferable, but is not essential.
- A well-established investor network in New York.
- Hold (or be able to easily obtain) either a Series 7, 79, or 82 license, as well as a Series 63 or 65 license.
- Proven track record of successfully raising capital and meeting fundraising targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remotely.
