We're partnered with a Multi-Billion Discretionary Hedge Fund with a strong focus in the Fundamental Equities trading space. The Fund specializes in a variety of strategies including Arbitrage (all types), Block Trades, Long-Short Fundamental, Event-Driven, and Tactical Equities. Typically, deploying a Market-Neutral Generalist model.
The Fund is looking to expand their North American offering, after consistent year-on-year growth, by hiring a Mid-level Event Driven Analyst with a specialism in either US/Canadian Equities or Credit. The ideal candidate will be working closely with an NYC-based PM, who specializes in a US and Canada-focused Generalist Event Driven Strategy including Risk Arbitrage.
The ideal candidate should have between 3 to 7+ years of experience working in a Hedge Fund or Proprietary Trading firm specializing in fundamental analysis of risk arb situations, along with a strong understanding of legal frameworks (contracts and regulations), and microeconomics. The candidate will be based in NYC 5 days a week, and a strong preference is for candidates who have the right to live and work in the US.
