As the Group Financial Controller, you will be in charge of overseeing the company's financial control operations, including budget management, cost efficiency, and financial assessments. This role requires close interaction with senior management to deliver accurate financial data and support organizational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise the controlling team, providing direction and support.
  • Strategic Planning: Formulate and execute controlling strategies that align with the company's broader business goals.
  • Budget Oversight: Direct the annual budget process, working with department heads to ensure accurate and prompt submissions.
  • Cost Management: Implement strategies to control costs and optimize resource utilization.
  • Financial Evaluation: Assess financial performance against key business indicators.
  • Reporting: Deliver regular financial reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships with external parties such as banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Experience: At least 7 years of experience in a controlling or finance role.
  • Skill Set: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the commodity trading sector is beneficial.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of local and international financial regulations.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience in team management.
  • Certification: ACCA qualification or equivalent is necessary.
