We are representing a proprietary energy trading firm seeking a gasoline derivatives trader to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior traders to execute trading strategies in the gasoline derivatives market, including futures, options, and swaps.
- Analyze market trends, fundamental data, and technical indicators to identify trading opportunities and optimize profitability.
- Monitor and manage positions, ensuring risk exposure is within established limits.
- Conduct research and perform data analysis to develop and refine trading strategies.
- Keep abreast of industry news, market developments, and regulatory changes that may impact gasoline derivatives trading.
- Work closely with risk management, operations, and compliance teams to ensure efficient trade execution and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with counterparties and market participants to facilitate trading activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong passion for the energy market and a desire to build a career in gasoline derivatives trading.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
