We are representing a global dry bulk trading house with offices in 20 countries and a presence in 80 regions.
Objective – Assume a trading position with a strong emphasis on Customer Development in a middle management role, focusing on expanding market access for Grains and Oilseeds in the EMEA & South Asia Region. The candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build a robust strategy for SND (Supply, Negotiation, and Distribution), origination, customer development, and operational excellence. The role will also involve Profit and Loss (PNL) responsibilities.
- Identify sustainable growth opportunities for the Grains and Oilseeds (GNO) business in the EMEA & South Asia Region.
- Conduct SND and Trade Analytics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Drive customer development in the region based on existing demand patterns and growth forecasts.
- Originate commodities to meet customer needs and support proprietary positions.
- Collaborate with the Futures/SWAP Desk to effectively manage position risks.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of Ocean Freight, Forex, and the import/export regulations governing the region.
