The opportunity
Our client is committed to building world-class infrastructure to support its trading strategies. As part of its continued growth, the firm is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to enhance and scale its computing and data infrastructure.
What the role involves
- Design and develop infrastructure to support the rapid storage and analysis of large-scale data
- Manage AWS-based compute and data infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
- Monitor production trading systems to maintain reliability and uptime
- Oversee day-to-day management of software and infrastructure systems
- Automate system administration and operational processes
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure
What our client is looking for
- A self-motivated individual able to work effectively in a full-time capacity
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of industry experience
- Proven experience managing Linux-based systems
- Hands-on experience managing AWS compute and data environments
- Strong ability to automate tasks within Linux environments
- AWS or other cloud certifications are advantageous
- Linux system certifications and additional relevant experience are a plus
