Institutional Sales/Business Development Manager - FX & Equities
Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Our client, a rapidly expanding financial services firm, is seeking a highly professional and results-driven business development professional to drive revenue growth and expand their institutional client base across the Middle East, Asia, and beyond. The role focuses on ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, hedge funds, and other sophisticated institutional investors. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in FX, equity products, and global markets, with a proven ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire and expand relationships with institutional clients, including family offices, hedge funds, and high-net-worth investors.
  • Provide and source liquidity in FX, CFDs on indices, commodities, and precious metals, ensuring best execution for institutional clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with sophisticated investors, understanding their objectives and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal trading and research teams to support commercial planning and performance management.
  • Monitor global and regional market trends and provide institutional clients with timely insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain strict compliance with financial regulations and internal risk management protocols across all activities.
  • Report directly to senior management, providing updates on sales performance, market developments, and client opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in institutional sales, trading, or business development within FX, equities, or derivatives.
  • Demonstrated experience providing and sourcing liquidity to professional clients rather than retail investors.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition, relationship management, and revenue generation with UHNWIs, family offices, and hedge funds.
  • Deep understanding of global and regional financial regulations, compliance, and risk management practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior decision makers.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of independently managing and growing an institutional client portfolio.
