C++ Low Latency Developer

Our client is looking for a talented low latency C++ developer to join their Amsterdam office. The firm is one of the leading market-makers globally and have recently launched a new office, placing technology at the forefront of their growth, investing in cutting-edge technology and the strongest talent in the market.
You will work directly with traders, researchers, and other developers to engineer cutting edge, ultra-low latency, high throughput trading systems. You will play a key role in taking projects from conception to deployment. You will drive innovation for the frameworks upon which our trading applications are based, as well as benchmarking and tuning critical software services to achieve optimum performance.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about trading and wants to further their career with one of the leading tech-driven hedge funds. Requirements
· Ph.D or Masters in computer science, mathematics, statistics or other related fields.
· Expert in C++ directly working with low latency technology
· Experience with multithreading
· Experience with linux systems advantageous
· 3+ years experience
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
