Job Description – M&A Vice President (Advisory)

About the Firm
A leading independent advisory boutique focused on delivering high-quality, senior-led M&A advice across a range of sectors. The firm works closely with founders, management teams, and financial sponsors, providing tailored support across the full transaction lifecycle. With a strong pipeline of mandates and a growing platform, the team is looking to add an experienced Vice President to support continued expansion.

The Role

The firm is seeking a Vice President to join its London-based team, playing a key role in the execution and delivery of M&A transactions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading day-to-day execution of M&A transactions, primarily on the sell-side, from origination through to completion
  • Managing junior team members and overseeing the preparation of financial models, valuation analysis, and transaction materials (IMs, teasers, presentations)
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, supporting senior stakeholders throughout the deal process
  • Coordinating due diligence processes and managing external advisors
  • Supporting senior leadership in origination efforts, including pitch preparation and client engagement
  • Contributing to the development and growth of the platform

Candidate Profile

  • 5–8 years’ experience within M&A advisory, investment banking, or a leading boutique
  • Strong execution experience across sell-side M&A transactions; sector experience in infrastructure, energy transition, or related areas is advantageous but not essential
  • Advanced financial modelling and valuation skillset (DCF, LBO, comps)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and operate with a high degree of autonomy
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and senior stakeholders
  • Prior experience mentoring or managing junior team members

Why Apply?

  • Opportunity to join a growing, high-quality advisory platform with strong deal flow
  • Senior exposure and meaningful responsibility across transactions
  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative culture with a lean team structure
  • Clear progression potential as the firm continues to scale
