Managing Director/Partner - Direct Lending Sales
US West Coast

Our client is a prominent global asset manager renowned for its expertise in direct lending and alternative investments. With a strong track record of delivering exceptional results for clients, they operate at the forefront of the financial industry, offering innovative solutions and strategic insights.
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join their team as a Managing Director or Partner in Direct Lending. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, expanding client relationships, and contributing to the strategic direction of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive business development strategies to identify and pursue new investment opportunities in direct lending.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, serving as a trusted advisor and delivering tailored solutions to meet their financial objectives.
  • Oversee investor relations efforts, including communication, reporting, and relationship management with institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals, and other key stakeholders.
  • Drive fundraising initiatives by effectively articulating the firm's value proposition, investment thesis, and performance track record to prospective investors, with a focus on achieving fundraising targets.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of professionals.

  • Proven track record of success in direct lending, with deep expertise and experience in originating, structuring, and executing debt transactions.
  • Strong business development acumen with a demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and capitalize on market opportunities, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Robust experience in investor relations, fundraising, or capital raising within private credit, with a strong network of institutional investors and key decision-makers.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
