Venture Search is partnering with a leading global hedge fund to hire a Systematic Sub-Portfolio Manager focused on equities and futures.

The Role
As a Systematic Sub-PM, you will:
- Develop and deploy fully systematic trading strategies across equities and futures
- Contribute to alpha generation within an existing PM or multi-PM framework
- Take ownership of strategy performance, with direct impact on PnL
- Conduct rigorous quantitative research using large and diverse datasets
- Collaborate with centralised technology and data teams to enhance execution and scalability

Requirements
- Proven experience developing fully systematic strategies in equities and/or futures
- Strong track record of alpha generation in a professional trading environment
- Background in a leading hedge fund, proprietary trading firm, or similar institution
- Strong quantitative foundation (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or similar)
- Proficiency in programming (Python, C++, or similar)
- Solid understanding of portfolio construction, risk management, and market microstructure
