As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking experienced Fundamental Power Traders to join their dynamic team.


  • Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of power/gas markets, including supply and demand dynamics, market trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Monitor and analyze macroeconomic factors, geopolitical events, and environmental policies that affect the power industry.
  • Identify and evaluate potential trading opportunities based on fundamental analysis and market research.
  • Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize profitability and manage risk.
  • Execute trades efficiently and effectively in collaboration with the trading team.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with counterparties, brokers, and other market participants.
  • Stay updated with industry news, market developments, and emerging trends in the power sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights, contribute to risk management strategies, and support overall business objectives.


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Power Trader, preferably in a global commodity trading house or energy company.
  • Strong understanding of power markets, including supply and demand dynamics, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficient in fundamental analysis, quantitative modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  • Strong decision-making abilities in high-pressure trading environments.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment.
  • Fluency in English is required. Additional languages are advantageous.
