  • Develop and execute proprietary trading strategies within the commodity derivatives market, utilizing quantitative analysis, market research, and trading models.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, news, and data to identify trading opportunities and generate profitable trade ideas.
  • Execute trades across a range of commodity derivatives, including futures, options, swaps, and other structured products.
  • Manage risk effectively by implementing appropriate risk management techniques, including position sizing, stop-loss orders, and hedging strategies.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate trading performance, making necessary adjustments to optimize trading strategies and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the research, risk management, and technology teams to enhance trading models, tools, and systems.
  • Stay updated on market regulations, industry trends, and emerging market opportunities to ensure compliance and capture new trading prospects.
  • Maintain strong relationships with counterparties, brokers, and industry professionals to facilitate trading activities and gather market intelligence.


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field. Additional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Proprietary Trader, preferably with a focus on commodity derivatives trading.
  • In-depth knowledge of commodity markets, including a solid understanding of supply and demand dynamics, pricing factors, and market structures.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and trading software.
  • Proficient in executing trades across various commodity derivatives instruments, such as futures, options, and swaps.
  • Experience with risk management techniques, including position sizing, stop-loss orders, and hedging strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure trading environment.
  • Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to quickly assess market conditions and make informed trading decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
