Our client is a systematic crypto prop trading firm, that was established by industry experts renowned for their accomplishments in algorithmic trading and finance. The role offers a unique opportunity to become part of an exceptionally talented team with a huge emphasis on delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Build out a next generation research platform that is leveraged by their quant researchers to develop alpha models that forecast crypto asset prices, and a systematic strategy for trading these assets.
• Develop production systems for alpha generation, trading and portfolio management.
• Team up with quant researchers to directly improve the performance of their models and crypto trading strategy.
• Implement advanced machine learning techniques for predictive modelling.
• Collaborate closely with a team of exceptional quant developers that play a crucial role across their entire systematic trading pipeline.
• Push your work to production and receive immediate performance feedback.
• Become a core contributor to their trading strategy and research platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Exceptional software design and development skills in Python, Java or other OOP language.
• Prior internships or full-time work experience that demonstrate your ability to architect and implement software systems to solve real-world problems.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning methods or statistical modelling techniques; advanced knowledge is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and Linux.
• Versatile problem-solving skills, and a drive to succeed.
• Desire to learn continuously and increase your impact.
• Ability to work closely with other quant developers in a highly collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of financial markets or the crypto industry is a plus but not required.
