We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Rubber Trader to join our clients commodities trading team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing physical and/or derivatives trading of natural and synthetic rubber, identifying arbitrage opportunities, executing trades, and building a profitable trading book. This role requires strong market knowledge, a global network of producers and buyers, and the ability to manage risk in volatile markets.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute profitable trading strategies for physical and/or paper rubber markets (e.g., TSR20, RSS, synthetic grades).

Build, manage, and grow a trading book with clear P&L responsibility.

Source supply and secure offtake agreements by cultivating strong relationships with producers, processors, distributors, and end-users.

Identify arbitrage opportunities across geographies, time spreads, and related products.

Manage price risk using derivatives (futures, options, OTC instruments) and oversee hedging strategies.

Monitor market fundamentals, global supply-demand dynamics, weather patterns, and macroeconomic indicators impacting rubber prices.

Coordinate with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of trades and timely settlement.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trade flows, freight rates, and regulatory developments affecting the rubber market.

Provide regular market intelligence and trade recommendations to senior management.
