Venture Search are partnered with a small Florida-based hedge fund that is looking for an experienced Systematic Portfolio Manager to join their team and help with the development and expansion of very scalable strategies.
A portfolio manager has an early-stage opportunity to join a hedge fund that has already committed capital and is hoping to develop the company significantly over the following few years. The group has previously developed a number of successful global macro trading methods in-house, as well as back testing parameters, live trading, and portfolio analytics.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Direct trading, comprising trader direction, hands-on trading, research, and performance evaluation
- Evaluate and introduce innovative trading strategies.
- Improve current strategies in addition to having the ability to create and manage profitable trading strategies autonomously
- The candidate MUST have a 5+ year demonstrable track record trading, with consistent PnL figures.
- Experienced in trading strategies that are Medium-High Frequency.
- MUST HAVE BSc, MSc or PhD in a Mathematic, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science or any STEM related subject.
