Our client is a leading placement agent in the financial industry, specializing in connecting institutional investors with top-tier investment opportunities. With a focus on alternative investments, the firm has established a reputation for excellence in fundraising and investor relations.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Project Management team, as a VP/Director. The candidate will play a crucial role in driving the success of fundraising initiatives and managing key projects to ensure seamless execution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute fundraising projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, understanding their needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with the investor relations team to create compelling presentations and materials for fundraising efforts.
- Contribute to the development and execution of fundraising strategies, leveraging industry insights and market trends.
- Work closely with senior leadership to identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities.
- Develop and deliver clear and concise project updates and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure transparent communication channels with all relevant parties.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Investor Relations, Fundraising, or Project Management within the financial industry. Previous experience at a Placement Agent is essential.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects and fundraising initiatives.
- Strong understanding of alternative investments and the financial services landscape.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
