We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Agri Trader to manage physical and/or derivatives trading in agricultural commodities. The role involves originating and executing profitable trades, managing risk exposure, and developing strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners to drive growth in global agri markets.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and grow trading strategies in agricultural commodities (e.g., grains, oilseeds, sugar, coffee, cotton, pulses, or other softs).

Originate physical deals and negotiate purchase and sale contracts with producers, end-users, brokers, and trading houses.

Monitor and analyze market trends, crop reports, weather patterns, freight markets, and macroeconomic factors to identify trading opportunities.

Manage price risk through hedging strategies using futures, options, and OTC derivatives (e.g., CBOT, ICE, Euronext).

Maintain and expand relationships with producers, co-ops, exporters, shipping companies, and financial counterparties.

Oversee trade execution, including contract management, shipping/logistics coordination, and quality control.

Monitor positions, P&L, and risk exposures to ensure adherence to trading limits and company policies.

Collaborate with finance and operations teams to manage credit lines, trade finance, and working capital requirements.

Provide market intelligence and regular updates to senior management on trading performance and opportunities.
