Quantitative Developer - London

The Role
You will play a key role in designing, building, and enhancing the firm’s automated trading systems and execution platforms. Working closely with traders and quantitative researchers, you will contribute directly to the performance and robustness of live trading strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing high-performance trading systems, primarily in C#
- Collaborating with trading and research teams to build and optimize algorithmic execution and strategy infrastructure
- Developing and maintaining back-testing frameworks that accurately replicate production environments
- Implementing comprehensive testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance
- Monitoring production systems, analysing KPIs, and proactively improving system stability and efficiency
- Supporting live trading operations and working alongside execution and infrastructure teams
- Contributing to project planning, performance optimization initiatives, and technical documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in C# or C++
- Experience with multi-threading, reflection, and memory/CPU profiling highly preferred
- Exposure to hardware optimization (CPU, GPU, networking) advantageous
- Experience with user interface (UI) development
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design and algorithmic development patterns
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments
- Knowledge of financial products including equities, derivatives, fixed income, and other asset classes
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication abilities
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
