Venture Search is partnered with a New York based multi-strategy hedge fund seeking a trader to support their growing convertible arbitrage team.

Responsibilities

The individual will report to the head of convertible arbitrage and manage the day to day trading function of the desk.

-Act as the primary point of contact for the firm’s sell side relationships
-Manage the trading flow for the desk
-Manage delta hedging, borrow availability, and bespoke hedging strategies
-Monitor risks across the portfolio

Qualifications

-2-5 years direct experience with convertible bonds. Ideally on a sell side convertibles trading desk or potentially within a related asset class or function.
-Demonstrated quantitative abilities and mastery of options pricing fundamentals
-Fluency in corporate finance, stock loan, rate hedging, and bond documentation
-Academic success with an advanced or undergraduate STEM degree
