Chief Financial Officer – Egypt
A leading oil and gas business is seeking to appoint a Chief Financial Officer to join its Egypt-based operations. The business operates at national scale, is well-capitalised, profitable, and backed by established global energy shareholders.
This is a number-one finance leadership role, offering broad functional ownership, close partnership with the CEO, and meaningful influence over the next phase of growth and value creation.
The Role
The CFO will lead the full finance function and act as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior leadership team.
Key responsibilities:

Full ownership of financial leadership, control, and governance

Oversight of financial reporting, FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting

Treasury, cash management, and liquidity planning (preferred experience)

Commercial and business-partnering support across B2C and B2B operations

Leadership and development of a medium sized finance team

Support to board-level and shareholder reporting with an investor-style mindset

Delivery of a clear 100-day plan aligned to longer-term strategic ambitions

Managing a structured transition and handover from the incumbent CFO
Candidate Profile

15+ years’ experience within multinational environments

Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience

Strong commercial acumen and business-partnering capability

Exposure to treasury strongly preferred

Accredited financial qualification (ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent)

Arabic fluency required

Sector background open (energy, infrastructure, telecoms, consumer, industrial, or large corporates)
