The Finance Manager will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of both fund and corporate entities within the firm. This position requires expertise in fund accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and corporate finance to support the firm’s objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and review of fund financial statements, capital accounts, and performance metrics for various investment funds.
- Ensure accurate calculation and allocation of fees, expenses, and distributions in line with fund agreements.
- Work with fund administrators, auditors, and custodians to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including consolidation of accounts across business units.
- Prepare financial statements, budget analysis, and forecasts for senior management and board review.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting, providing financial insights and variance analysis.
- Assist in the creation of financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency in financial reporting and operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or CFA designation preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in asset management, fund administration, or financial services, with a focus on fund and corporate accounting.
- Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
