Key Responsibilities
Legal Advisory & Contracting

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts across trading, finance, and service functions.

Provide legal insight on deal structuring, partnering closely with business development and operations.

Manage post-contract workflows, including amendments, renewals, and terminations.

Oversee NDA processes and maintain DocuSign/e-signature protocols.

Act as the first point of contact for internal legal requests.
Corporate Governance
-
Prepare board and shareholder resolutions, company filings, and statutory documents.

Oversee group entity maintenance and corporate secretarial matters across jurisdictions.
-
Support internal governance initiatives and policy development.
-
Act as secretary to the executive risk committee, maintaining minutes and tracking actions.
Expansion & Strategic Projects

Lead legal aspects of international expansion, market entry, and corporate structuring.

Support new entity incorporation, re-domiciliation, and restructuring projects.
-
Instruct and manage external counsel where needed.
HR & Employment
-
Draft and review employment contracts, consultancy agreements, and termination documentation.

Advise on employment law issues in collaboration with HR leadership.
Transactions
-
Support investment and M&A activity, including diligence, structuring, and transaction documentation.
Compliance & Regulation
-
Own the KYC lifecycle and assist with onboarding of counterparties and clients.

Monitor regulatory developments (e.g. MiFID, REMIT II) and ensure compliance frameworks remain fit-for-purpose.

Handle compliance escalations, reporting, and liaison with internal stakeholders.

Manage compliance queries related to trade finance.
Intellectual Property

Support brand protection and IP registration initiatives across the business.
