Physical Oil Traders
We are working with a rapidly growing commodity trading firm seeking to expand their oil trading team in Dubai.
Job Description:
As a Physical Oil Trader, you will be responsible for trading physical oil products in the global markets. You will be expected to develop and execute profitable trading strategies, analyse market trends, and manage risk effectively. You will be part of a dynamic team of traders and analysts, working closely with colleagues in other regions to capture opportunities in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute profitable trading strategies in physical oil markets
• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trading opportunities
• Monitor market trends, news, and economic data to make informed trading decisions
• Manage risk effectively and optimize trading positions
• Build and maintain relationships with key market participants and counterparties
• Work closely with colleagues in other regions to capture global opportunities
• Participate in cross-functional projects to drive business growth and innovation
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in physical oil trading
• Strong track record of profitability and risk management
• Experience trading crude oil, fuel oil, or other refined products
• Familiarity with the Asia/ME/African/European markets, including pricing mechanisms, supply and demand dynamics, and regulations
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
