As a Petrochemical Trading Operator, you will play a critical role in supporting our trading activities by managing the logistical and operational aspects of our petrochemical trades. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in trading operations, preferably in the petrochemical or oil trading industry.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the logistics of petrochemical trades, including vessel nominations, shipping documentation, and cargo tracking.
- Liaise with suppliers, buyers, shipping agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely execution of trades.
- Manage the preparation and issuance of trade documentation, including contracts, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and invoices.
- Monitor vessel schedules, port operations, and weather conditions to proactively identify and address any potential delays or disruptions.
- Work closely with the trading desk, risk management, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely settlement of trades.
- Maintain accurate records of trade transactions, shipping documents, and other relevant information in our trading systems and databases.
- Provide support and assistance to traders and other team members as needed to ensure the successful completion of trades.
