We are representing a cross commodity trading house who are seeking an experienced and motivated Physical Agri Trader to join their team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and executing trades, managing relationships with suppliers and buyers, and ensuring the seamless execution of contracts. This role requires a deep understanding of the agricultural commodities market, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in physical trading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and negotiate the purchase and sale of agriculture products (wheat/grain/soybean).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and pricing to identify trading opportunities.
- Execute trades and manage the logistics of product delivery, including shipping, storage, and quality control.
- Prepare and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.
- Analyse market data and provide insights to support trading strategies and decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, logistics, and risk management, to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay updated on industry developments, geopolitical events, and other factors that may impact the agricultural commodities market.
