Venture Search is partnered with a Tier 1 Placement Agent, who are looking for an experienced Associate to join their Project Management team in NYC. Candidates must have previous experience from a Placement Agent to be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and track multiple live fundraising processes simultaneously, including timelines, deliverables, and investor communications
- Coordinate preparation, version control, and distribution of marketing materials (PPMs, pitch decks, DDQs, data room materials)
- Support investor relations efforts, including CRM updates, investor tracking, and reporting
- Act as a liaison between senior sales professionals, investment teams, compliance, and external stakeholders
- Maintain detailed project plans, task lists, and status updates for internal leadership
- Assist with RFPs, investor due diligence requests, and follow-up materials
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal approval processes
- Support ongoing improvement of internal project management and fundraising workflows
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (2023 or 2024 graduate) from a top-tier university
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses
- 5+ years of total experience, with at least 2 years of experience from a Placement Agent/Private Funds Group.
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
