We are partnered with a leading institutional trading firm specialising in digital-asset liquidity and market-making solutions for major exchanges and OTC platforms. The team is expanding in New York and is seeking an experienced Senior Rust Engineer to help design, scale, and secure their core institutional exchange.
This is a high-impact position in a small, senior engineering group working across market-making, B2B integrations, and bridging applications, surfaces, and protocol-level components. You’ll collaborate directly with the Head of Engineering, CEO, and key business stakeholders, helping shape the technical direction as the platform grows.
Requirements
- Strong, hands-on experience with Rust in production
- Background in institutional trading platforms, exchanges, or market-making systems
- Experience across B2B or B2C trading environments
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with senior stakeholders
- Security-aware engineering mindset
- Candidates with experience at institutional trading or digital asset firms
- US work authorization required (No sponsorship available for the US)
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain production-grade systems in Rust
- Build B2B trading workflows and institutional connectivity
- Enhance and stabilise market-making infrastructure
- Design bridges between application layers and protocol components
- Identify and close security and architecture gaps
- Improve and extend back-office tooling
- Work closely with senior leadership on technical strategy
- Mentor engineers within a small, elite team
- Collaborate with international teams, including Singapore
