Our client, a leading global investment manager with 20BN+ AUM is looking for a Senior Help Desk Engineer to help launch their brand new London office. This role will be ideal for someone with experience in office migrations within financial services.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum 7 years of pertinent professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree with a robust academic record.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, automation, and software packaging/deployment.
- Extensive technical expertise supporting Citrix, Azure, Intune, Windows 10, Office 365, Teams, and Bloomberg.
- Hands-on experience in virtual environments such as VMware, Nutanix, or Hyper V.
- Exceptional customer service skills, adept time management, and a strong attention to detail.
- Self-driven, quick learner with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Profound written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Employ automation, scripting, and software packaging/deployment to optimize Help Desk efficiency.
- Provide support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and documentation for both virtual and physical desktop and laptop environments.
- Take ownership of Help Desk-related calls and offer technical support.
- Oversee engineering projects, monitor implementation progress, and identify areas for enhancement.
- Be available for on-call duties as required.
