The Soybean Trader will be responsible for building and managing a profitable soybean book across physical and financial markets.
The role will include:

Origination and execution of physical soybean trades (FOB, CFR, CIF)

Developing relationships with growers, exporters, crushers and end users

Managing global arbitrage flows (US, Brazil, Argentina, Black Sea, Asia)

Monitoring and trading CBOT soybean futures, spreads and basis markets

Structuring trades including flat price, basis and crush margin exposure

Coordinating logistics including freight, port operations and documentation

Managing inventory and working capital efficiently

Working closely with risk, operations and finance teams
Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow a profitable soybean trading book

Identify and execute arbitrage opportunities across origin and destination markets

Manage flat price and basis exposure in line with internal risk limits

Track global crop fundamentals (planting, weather, yields, export flows)

Analyse crush margins, meal/oil spreads and substitution dynamics

Maintain strong counterparty relationships across producers, traders and processors
-
Contribute to strategy discussions and market positioning
