This role is central to building their intelligence around global and regional biofuels markets, supporting commercial decision-making with sharp, real-time insight into supply, demand, regulation, and pricing.
Key Responsibilities:

Market Fundamentals: Track and analyze supply-demand balances for key biofuels (e.g., HVO, FAME, UCOME, SAF, ethanol) and feedstocks (e.g., UCO, tallow, POME, soy oil) across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Regulatory Insight: Monitor key legislative developments (RED III, Fit for 55, US RFS, LCFS, 45Z, FuelEU Maritime, RefuelEU Aviation) and assess their market impact.

Commercial Support: Provide traders with short-term and medium-term outlooks, pricing commentary, margin indicators, and arbitrage opportunities.

Data Modeling: Maintain and enhance S&D models, blending economics, credit/ticket pricing forecasts, and trade flow tracking.

Pricing Intelligence: Analyze regional biofuel price spreads, benchmark indices (e.g., Argus, Platts), and blending mandate implications to inform trading strategies.
