We are seeking a Trade Finance Officer with strong experience in the iron ore and metals trading sector to support the end-to-end trade finance activities of our clients business. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing transactional documentation, liaising with banks and internal stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution of trade finance operations for physical commodity deals.
Key Responsibilities

Execute and manage all trade finance instruments including Letters of Credit (LCs), Standby LCs, Documentary Collections, Bank Guarantees, and Open Account terms

Prepare and review trade documentation (invoices, packing lists, B/Ls, inspection certificates) in compliance with LC terms and contractual agreements

Liaise with counterparties, banks, insurers, and internal teams (trading, legal, operations, treasury) to coordinate smooth financing and settlement of transactions

Ensure timely presentation of documents to banks and monitor collections/disbursements under trade finance instruments

Handle financing structures such as prepayment, supplier credit, and structured trade finance deals

Monitor and manage exposure under trade finance facilities, ensuring alignment with internal limits and compliance policies

Maintain strong working relationships with relationship banks; assist in negotiating facility terms, pricing, and documentation

Assist in KYC onboarding, counterparty and bank documentation, and internal trade finance reporting

Participate in process improvements and support automation initiatives for trade finance documentation and workflows
