We are seeking an experienced Trade Finance Officer to join our clients' growing oil trading firm. The successful candidate will play a critical role in executing and managing trade finance transactions, including Letters of Credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and structured trade finance instruments. You will ensure smooth and compliant transaction flow, manage banking relationships, and support front and middle office teams in optimizing working capital solutions for global oil trades.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end trade finance operations including issuance, negotiation, and settlement of Letters of Credit (LCs), Standby LCs, Bank Guarantees, and collections.

Review and structure trade finance deals in line with contract terms, ensuring alignment with credit and risk policies.

Liaise with banks, trading counterparts, operations, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely documentation, approvals, and disbursements.

Coordinate with traders and operations teams on cargo delivery schedules and ensure all trade finance instruments are aligned with operational timelines.

Monitor bank lines and facilities, usage, limits, and ensure optimal utilization across geographies and instruments.

Proactively manage discrepancies and document risks to ensure seamless LC presentations and mitigate exposure to payment delays or disputes.

Maintain strong banking relationships and stay up to date with changing trade finance products and compliance standards.

Support the Treasury and Finance teams in FX hedging, cash flow planning, and payment instructions tied to structured finance deals.

Ensure compliance with relevant internal controls, anti-money laundering (AML), KYC requirements, and international trade regulations.
