About the Role
A global prop trading firm is seeking a Trade Operations Engineer to join its Singapore team. This position sits at the centre of the firm’s trading infrastructure — ensuring smooth, reliable, and efficient operations across multiple global markets.
You’ll be responsible for monitoring live trading systems, managing risk in real time, and supporting mission-critical technology that drives the firm’s trading strategies. The role blends elements of technical support, software engineering, and operational oversight, offering an excellent opportunity to develop a deep understanding of high-performance trading systems.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee live trading environments and maintain system reliability during market hours.

Troubleshoot and resolve time-sensitive production issues with accuracy and composure.

Assist with the deployment, configuration, and optimisation of trading applications.

Contribute to internal development by implementing small-scale code updates, bug fixes, and performance improvements.

Collaborate closely with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to enhance automation, monitoring, and workflow efficiency.

Participate in a shared rotation to provide trading coverage during key market hours.
What They're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Strong technical curiosity and a genuine interest in financial markets and trading systems.

Proficiency in C++ or another statically typed programming language.

Experience working in a Linux environment and comfortable with basic scripting or command-line operations.
