Our client is a prestigious real assets management firm based in Singapore, specializing in real estate and infrastructure investments. With a proven track record and a strong presence in the industry, they are known for their expertise in sourcing, acquiring, and managing real asset portfolios on a global scale.
As a VP/Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of real estate and infrastructure investment strategies. Leveraging your extensive experience working at a Placement Agent, you will be responsible for leading and managing investment funds, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the firm's overall growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of real estate and infrastructure investment funds, overseeing their entire lifecycle from fundraising and capital deployment to asset management and eventual divestment.
- Collaborate closely with senior management to develop and refine investment strategies aligned with market trends, investor preferences, and the firm's growth objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, understanding their needs, addressing inquiries, and providing transparent communication.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, analyzing financial data, market trends, and risk factors to make informed investment recommendations.
- Oversee the asset management of the firm's real asset portfolios, working with operational teams to enhance value, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with investment mandates.
- Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high performance culture while providing guidance and expertise in real estate and infrastructure investment.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on fund performance, investment updates, and market insights to senior management and investors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience working in Private Markets, with strong Placement Agent experience. Real Estate or Infrastructure background is preferred.
- Proven track record of demonstrating strong fund performance and investor relationships.
- Deep understanding of global real estate and infrastructure markets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating teams.
- Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and due diligence skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective investor relations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
