Head of Capital Raising - EMEA

Our client is a global investment management platform with a strong track record in real estate and private markets. The firm is seeking a Head of Capital Raising (EMEA) to lead and scale its fundraising activities across the Middle East and Europe. This is a senior leadership role responsible for developing institutional relationships, raising capital across real estate strategies, and acting as a key ambassador for the firm in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead capital raising efforts across EMEA, with a particular focus on Middle Eastern and European institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, pensions, insurers, endowments, and family offices
- Raise capital across a range of real estate investment strategies (core, core-plus, value-add, opportunistic, sector-specific vehicles, and co-investments)
- Develop and execute the regional fundraising strategy in close collaboration with senior investment leadership and global distribution teams
- Build, manage, and deepen long-term relationships with institutional LPs and strategic capital partners
- Represent the firm with investors, consultants, and industry stakeholders, including roadshows, conferences, and one-on-one meetings
- Support fund launches, re-ups, and new product development from a capital markets perspective
- Work closely with investment, portfolio management, and product teams to articulate strategy, performance, and pipeline to investors
- Contribute to broader platform growth, including market intelligence, investor feedback, and regional expansion initiatives
Candidate Profile:
- 15+ years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, or capital formation within investment management, private equity, or asset management
- Demonstrated track record of successfully raising significant capital for real estate strategies, particularly from Middle Eastern and European investors
- Deep understanding of real estate private markets, including fund structures, vehicles, and institutional investment processes
- Strong existing network across institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, pensions, insurers, and family offices
- Experience operating in a global or cross-border investment platform
- Strategic, commercially minded, and highly credible at CIO, CEO, and Investment Committee level
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Arabic is not required
- Open to relocation; candidates must come from an investment management background with meaningful real estate investment exposure
