Venture Search are pleased to be representing a fast-growing investment firm with offices in the GCC who are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Product & Marketing to lead product strategy, development, and marketing efforts across the MENA region. The role will be based in Dubai, with strategic oversight across GCC markets.
This position plays a key role in shaping the firm’s product roadmap, expanding investor reach, and reinforcing its brand presence in the region and internationally.
You will be responsible for managing a broad portfolio of investment products, overseeing marketing initiatives, and maintaining key relationships with external fund managers, investment partners, and other strategic stakeholders.
Product Strategy & Development
- Define and drive the firm's product expansion plan in line with long-term growth objectives, with a particular focus on scaling AUM and revenue.
- Identify market needs, investor demand, and competitive trends to inform the design and evolution of the product suite.
- Lead the development and enhancement of investment offerings, leveraging internal teams or working with external asset managers.
- Ensure full lifecycle management of all products including monitoring performance, assessing product fit, and refining structures in response to regulatory or commercial developments.
- Maintain governance around fund structures and coordinate with legal, compliance, and company secretarial teams for regulatory filings, approvals, and changes across product documentation.
- Coordinate changes driven by distribution, risk, or compliance—such as adding new share classes, revising investment mandates, or addressing regulatory updates.
- Collaborate with distribution and sales teams to ensure effective go-to-market strategies and product positioning across investor channels.
- Spearhead marketing and launch campaigns for new and existing products, including materials for investor roadshows, presentations, and DDQ responses.
- Develop impactful content such as factsheets, whitepapers, and market commentary to reinforce the firm’s investment credentials.
- Support the firm’s brand positioning by working with PR agencies and internal stakeholders to build visibility, especially in key wealth management and institutional circles.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage risks and maintain high governance standards in product development and delivery.
- Oversee ongoing due diligence of service providers in accordance with regulatory obligations.
- Manage ongoing relationships with third-party product providers.
- Foster new partnerships to expand the firm’s offering and drive innovation.
- Act as a key interface between investment, compliance, and distribution teams to ensure commercial and regulatory alignment.
- Industry Experience: 15+ years in investment management, product structuring, or asset management.
- Strategic Thinker: Experience in designing and executing growth strategies that increase AUM and client engagement.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience interfacing with both internal teams and external investors.
- Regulatory Acumen: Familiarity with fund regulations in major jurisdictions.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards, particularly around client confidentiality and fiduciary responsibility.
- Contribute to operational oversight, including alignment of finance and governance processes with business growth.
- Support wider business development initiatives, identifying and nurturing prospective opportunities.
- Partner closely with senior leadership, including supporting the Deputy CEO in daily business management and strategic planning.
- Demonstrate a client-first mindset, ensuring timely, accurate communication and delivery of investor services.
