We are partnering with a notable organisation in the UAE, to hire their newly created Portfolio Manager, focused on the upstream investment portfolio. We are looking for an experienced Investment professional with c.12-15 years experience, with knowledge/experience of upstream investments, as this role will work in partnership with the investment committee.
Portfolio Manager Responsibilities:
- Maximise value from the current upstream investment portfolio by evaluating the current portfolio, and devising a strategy that focuses on sustainable growth.
- Analyse opportunities within oil and gas, capital projects, M&A and other transactions
- Lead on investment strategy that is going to support the decision making process, including creating grading tools and KPI's
- Prepare proposals for the Investment Committee
- Continuously create new tools and processes that will increase efficiency of the team
- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience within Portfolio Management / Investments
- Strong understanding of upstream / oil & gas industry is required
- UAE national is required
