Responsibilities
- Supports and enhances the firm’s non-latency systems and data mart, collaborating with all departments at our client to achieve goals in Finance, risk, accounting, compliance, clearing, operations, and portfolio financing.
- Designs, implements, and supports software solutions that offer unique insights into the firm’s operations.
- Works with various teams across the firm to comprehend system requirements and needs.
- Quickly responds to ad hoc data and reporting requests.
- Enhances existing surveillance and alerting infrastructure.
Requirements
- Holds a BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related industry experience.
- Possesses strong knowledge of Python (Pandas is a plus).
- Demonstrates proficiency in database design and support; basic SQL skills required.
- Exhibits knowledge of RESTful API design.
- Has a solid understanding of data structures and containers.
- Possesses basic Linux and source control (git) understanding.
- Demonstrates familiarity with data warehousing and mining.
- Experience in dashboard design and data visualization is a plus.
- This position requires physical presence and is onsite (no remote work).
