Senior Investment Associate

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end execution of private credit and structured equity transactions, including term sheet negotiation, financial modelling, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
- Prepare high-quality investment memos and presentations for internal IC and LP reporting.
- Support deal structuring with a strong understanding of downside protection, cash flow lending, warrant mechanics, and convertible instruments.
- Drive due diligence efforts, including market sizing, competitive analysis, legal structuring, and founder reference checks.
- Monitor portfolio company performance, conduct regular covenant checks, and prepare portfolio reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide strategic input to portfolio companies and stay closely aligned with founders and management teams to protect and enhance fund value.
- Participate in follow-on financing decisions, restructurings, or secondary opportunities where relevant.
- Proactively source new deal opportunities through an established network of VC funds, founders, advisors, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Map and track the MENA venture and growth-stage credit market to identify high-conviction investment themes and white space opportunities.
- Collaborate with the leadership team on fund strategy, pipeline prioritization, and investment thesis development.
- Support investor relations by contributing to LP reporting, fundraising materials, and performance updates.
- Coordinate with fund administrators, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and timely reporting.
Candidate Profile:
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in venture debt, private credit, growth equity, or LBO financing, with a demonstrable track record of end-to-end deal execution.
- Advanced financial modelling, strong grasp of credit analysis, structuring, and valuation, with working knowledge of venture warrants, convertible notes, and other quasi-equity instruments.
- Strategic thinker with sharp commercial instincts and the ability to balance founder-alignment with risk-adjusted return profiles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to distil complex ideas into clear investment narratives and recommendations.
- Independent, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a lean and dynamic team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field. MBA, CFA or other advanced financial certifications a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Dubai and travel regionally as needed.
